A proud Manitoba Metis, Vanessa has produced over 100 hours of original and captivating programming that reflects the Indigenous Peoples of Canada in her role as General Manager at Animiki See Digital Production.

Most recently, Animiki See completed production on First Contact. A 3-part documentary series based on the Australian series of the same name, First Contact takes six Canadians, all with stereotypical opinions about Indigenous People, on a unique 28-day exploration of Indigenous Canada. This exploration of the true Indigenous experience in Canada will change the participants’ lives forever. Other recent projects include Wynter, a one-hour pilot for a supernatural series based around a young woman who discovers she is half human, half trickster, and as well as Indigenous Day Live, a live national concert event that celebrates Indigenous Solidarity Day across Canada each year.
