Natasha Martina (she/her) is a Vancouver and Saskatoon based Intimacy Coordinator with over 20 years of expertise as an actor, movement coach, and university professor who specializes in teaching movement for actors and acting. Her expertise allows her to create a versatile movement vocabulary to assist the director’s vision when dealing with scenes of an intimate nature while providing a supportive and equitable environment. Natasha is an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and through her training as a Somatic Movement Educator (BMC®) she has the skills to assist actors on set through potential triggers that may arise from intimate scenes with sensitive content. She completed her master’s degree from Central School of Speech and Drama (London, UK) specializing in Movement Pedagogy and Movement Direction and is certified as a Laban Movement Analyst, yoga teacher, and GYROKINESIS® apprentice. She has worked as an actor (both on stage and screen), movement directed and coached numerous theatrical productions nationally and internationally, and served as a theatrical intimacy choreographer for numerous productions.
