KIT REDMOND

Kit is the owner and CEO of RTR Media Inc. an award-winning production company specializing in lifestyle/factual content for television and digital platforms. She is also the owner and CEO of RTR International, which is based in the United States.

Kit embraces the virtual and physical workplace. She lives in Ottawa and travels virtually and physically to RTR's development and post-production office in Toronto, and to production offices throughout the US.

She’s created/produced and commissioned a wealth of projects, including HGTV's newest hit shows HomeTown and Flip or Flop: Fort Worth. Kit’s also executive produced Income Property, Lost and Sold and From the Ground Up. In 2017 Real Screen named RTR one of the top 100 Global producers.

RTR's current slate includes Home Town, Flip or Flop: Fort Worth, Hidden Potential, Vacation Rental Potential, several development deals for pilots and sizzles, Coral YouTube channels, social videos for CBC's new lifestyle portal, a new digital series with Bravo US and multiple digital series with HGTV.com including the Work Around with Jason Picken.

Kit has worked with and for broadcasters across Canada and the United States. Her positions included reporter, host, producer, development director, production executive, and executive producer.

Kit is the winner of 3 Canadian screen awards for best Lifestyle producer, the WIFT Mentorship award, The Innoversity Angel Award, the Female Eye, Maverick Award. Kit was also nominated for an International Emmy for Interrupt This Program.
