Over the past 20 years, Nüman Films has produced award-winning documentaries, doc-series and factual productions. Led by Producer/Director Jeff Newman, Nüman Films has carved out a niche of delivering high quality production while navigating sensitive situations, larger than life characters, and uncharted territory. Jeff has personally produced and/or directed over 75 hours of broadcast programming. Most recently, he received 2 nominations for Best Factual Series and Best Director at the 2020 Canadian Screen Awards as co-producer/director of First Contact (APTN/TVO).
