Lead, Indigenous Initiatives, Canada Media Fund, Telefilm

Adam Garnet Jones (Cree/Métis from amiskwaciy-wâskahikan) is the Lead for Indigenous Initiatives at the Canada Media Fund and Telefilm Canada. In his role, Adam supports Indigenous media content creators throughout the country with analysis of creative materials and applications, moderates jury processes, and collaborates with Executive team members on strategy and policy that aims to increasing funding equity for Indigenous creative teams.

Adam is also an award winning writer and director of feature films and Television, and he has an active process as a traditional bead-worker and novelist.
