Vanessa Case, VICE Canada’s SVP Studio, is a senior media executive with deep expertise as a commissioner, content strategist and international distributor. With a career spanning two decades, she has been a critical player in the launch and development of several world-renowned brands landing in Canada, including Smithsonian Channel, BBC Earth, HGTV Canada and National Geographic; working in alliance with international brands and media partners.
As a commissioner with her former employer, Blue Ant Media, she has kickstarted hundreds of hours of content for their suite of Canadian television brands. Prior to her role at Blue Ant, Case lead the scheduling, programming, acquisitions and strategic direction of several lifestyle, drama and factual channels across Canada via senior executive leadership roles at Shaw Media, Canwest and Alliance Atlantis.
